We are more than just another protection company.  We are former retailers that sold protection programs.  We've dealt with the service nightmares, broken promises, and "take it or leave it" attitude that is still prevalent today.  We started Risk Assurance Partners to provide retailers and their customers with fair and honest value, dealing with each as if they are our partners.  After serving more than 3 million customers over the last decade we learned from our failures and successes. Captive Programs

We Pioneered Captive Furniture Protection

Protection Program captives are not much different than workman's comp or health insurance captives.  One of the key differences being that Protection Program captives turn your Furniture Protection Program into a powerful wealth generating machine - all with found money.  It is the ultimate "no brainier."  Our captive programs operate the same as standard programs, the only difference being that we have attached a captive to hold personal wealth for you and your family or key executives.  Our captive programs are easy to setup and operate - we can have you up and running in as little as four weeks.  We will do all the regulatory and administration work - you just sell Protection Programs.

An additional benefit of our captive program is that it eliminates financial incentives to deny claims.  While our competitors make money by denying service and claims, we don't - not a penny.  All unused loss reserves are retained by you.  Our interest is helping you sell a lot of Protection Plans while taking excellent care of your customers.

Not ready for a captive? No problem.  Select our performance rebate program and earn up to 50%.  Just want the lowest net price?  We can do that too.  Don't see the coverage that you want?  We will customize coverage to meet your needs.


Captives programs are not right for everyone.  That's why we offer many different options.  Select any of the following instead:

  • Performance Rebate.  Help us reduce claim costs and hit sales goals and earn rebates as high as 50% of cost.
  • Lowest Net Price.  Just want the protection plan and limited training and support?  No problem.  We will remove those costs from your price so that you can purchase at net price.
  • Custom Coverage & Pricing.  Want a totally custom program (private label or branded)?  We can do that too.  We will help you select your own coverage and service policies and build a custom program to meet your specific needs.
  • Dealer Administration.  Want to fully administer your own program using our technology?  We will show you how.  We will provide the technology, management consulting and infrastructure, you handle sales and claims.


Net, if you don't want a captive program there are many other options that we offer.  You can simply replace your current program with minor changes, or make more significant long term changes.  Either way, we are here to help.

Self-Administered Programs

Just want to buy our Protection Plans, underwriting and compliance services?  We can help.  Our Self-Administered programs work best for large retailers that want to own their programs, or those wanting their own private label program, or those wanting more control over service.


A close cousin to Captive programs, Self-Administered programs can be a good option.  You can use as much or as little of our infrastructure as you like to service claims.  We can act as consultants only or provide some services, such as systems and/or call center services.


Benefits of Self-Administered programs include:

  • Lowest net price.  Depending on how many or few of our services that you utilize, the cost of a full featured Plan can be less than $15.00 per Plan (includes our fee + cost of claims).
  • You control the service.  You decide which claims are serviced and which are not covered under Plan coverage.
  • Control coverage.  You select your coverage and build your own program using our proven calculators - we will help each step of the way.  We will provide underwriting and compliance.
  • Brand equity and Ownership.  You build brand equity in your own private label Protection Program while earning profits.  

If you lack the infrastructure or know-how we can provide both.  With 60 programmers on staff we can integrate our Software Services Platform with your POS systems for easy execution.  We will be with you each step of the way to ensure your Guests are taken care of.
